Earlier this month the NIH implemented a new policy for manuscripts accepted for publication. To quote the Weill Cornell Medicine department of Information Technologies & Services (ITS): “Manuscripts must be submitted to PubMed Central upon acceptance for publication, for public availability without embargo upon the official date of publication.”
